A professional photographer skilled in capturing the essence of animals will create a stunning masterpiece during a studio session. While the focus is on the pets themselves, owners and family members are also welcome to participate, creating heartwarming family portraits that can be proudly displayed in your home.

With numerous studio locations nationwide, you can easily find a convenient spot for this unforgettable experience. Whether you have a four-legged friend, a feline companion, or even a hamster, your pet and you will be well taken care of during the session and viewing.

The experience includes a one-hour portrait session for you and your pet, along with a complimentary 10" x 8" image to treasure forever. Please note that only one voucher per family, per year can be used, and it cannot be combined with other offers or vouchers. To secure your booking, a £35 deposit is required, which will be fully refunded after the experience.

Within a week of your studio session, a separate viewing appointment will be arranged for you to choose your favourite image. Additionally, you will have the option to purchase additional portraits. Approximately four weeks later, you can collect your images and marvel at the timeless beauty captured in each one.

But that's not all! With this pet portrait experience, you also have the opportunity to enter your favourite photograph into the SuperDog of the Month competition. This competition aims to celebrate the best in dog portraiture while supporting the UK charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. By entering, you could win a monthly prize of a £100 Pets at Home voucher, and even compete for the grand prize of £1000 in the SuperDog of the Year competition.

    • This experience is for pets on their own or with their owners, if preferred at no extra cost.

    • This is for a voucher entitling the holder to any of the activities supplied by Activity Superstore up to the value stated.

What did you get up to?
We arrived around 5 minutes before our slot to allow our dog (Harley) to run around after traveling around 40 minutes. Dion the photographer greeted us at the door with a warm smile and welcomed us into the studio. We were first sat down so he could meet Harley, we had a chat about what we wanted and what we were looking to take out of the shoot. Harley was very nervous, but Dion took his time making sure she was comfortable and allowed one of us to be holding her or touching her as he could photoshop our arms out of the image if needed. We went over lots of different angles, props and when Harley was getting a little overwhelmed, we went outside to give her some air. He had some wood stubs outside that we use as a different background. Dion had a cute little dog called Chester that he brought out to see if Harley would loosen up with a friend around which was great! Dion had also asked if we could come a little earlier to allow for some time for Harley to go outside and have some chilled time, so it wasn’t so overwhelming for her which was great and meant nothing felt rushed.

After we went over all of the images that Dion had selected for us and we made the hard decision on which ones we liked the most, we managed to get this down to 16! We received one free print with the voucher, so we chose our favourite, and we decided to pay extra for the memory stick with the remaining images.

What did you enjoy the most?
We really enjoyed the whole experience, we felt very welcome and Dion was so patient and made many silly noises to comfort Harley.

Top Tip

1. You can bring a change of clothing for you if you want some images with a different look
2. You can bring clothing for your dog as well, coats, bandanas, bow ties etc that can be used throughout the shoot.
3. There are a few different pet shops around the area, and we stop off at the closest to the studio to get Harley a few treats for being such a good girl.

    Was very polite and made you feel welcome. Went for a dog portrait session and Melvin Sillcock was very friendly and patient with my dog. Photo's were excellent was job to choose, but was not made to rush with decision, was able to view them as many times as we wanted.

    Lovely space, lovely people, lovely photos. Seemed genuinely delighted to be photographing our working cocker and 3 of her 8 week old puppies. Viewing session also great. Very relaxed and very pleased with the reasonable pricing of the photos and packages. Will definitely use again, and would recommend!

    The photographer was very professional but unfortunately our dog wouldn't comply and after an hour of trying to get her to co operate, we had no choice but to leave without any photos having been taken. The photographer tried everything but it wasn't to be
