Bateaux LondonStacey from Customer Service, August 2018
|
What did you get up to?
We arrived 15 mins before the boat departed and the captain greeted us at the door. When we entered the boat, a hostess showed us to our table, where we were asked for our choice of tea. The teas ranged from earl grey to peppermint or spiced tea, there really was something for everyone!
The boat then departed and a pianist started playing soothing background music to well-known songs. Throughout the cruise we were able to go up to the observation desk for a unique view of London’s sky line.
The afternoon tea was served on three tiers. The first tier was a variety of sandwiches, the second tier included a range of desserts, and our top tier was homemade Cornish scones with jam and cream.
What did you enjoy the most?
I loved how polite, friendly and attentive the staff were throughout the cruise and that additional food was offered if we ran low.
Top Tip
1. The Bateaux is directly outside of the Embankment underground tube station.
2. Bring your camera along as there are many photo opportunities to be taken.
