Hiver was born out of an admiration for London's urban beekeepers and a passion for craft beer. They use only British ingredients and suppliers and ferment with raw honey to produce their range, which offers a great interpretation of this fantastic beer style. Through Hiver's experiences, they want to spread the love and respect they have for honey bees, and the taste of their delicious beers. Honey and beer, what's not to love?
The two hour session begins with a short introduction to bees and beekeeping, amidst the incredible setting of an English vineyard, overlooking the Sussex countryside. You’ll learn about the tools and equipment commonly used by beekeepers before you get suited and booted ready for a hive inspection.
After handling the frames, checking the health of the hive and getting up close and personal with the ‘ladies’, you’ll relax over a tutored beer tasting with food matching and honey sampling. Before you go feel free to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, wander around the vineyard and ask the experts any questions you may have.
