Be careful of the hidden charges. It can far exceed the initial cost of the package . Breakfast charges, charges per child per day Stayed in a room full of black mould Hotel below standard. Swimming pool freezing. Staff were wonderful though!

We received this as a gift from my mum and picked the Orchard house hotel in Devon. The hotel was lovely, the location stunning, and the afternoon tea was worth the trip on its own. Well worth paying for the breakfast at the hotel, you won't be disappointed if you do. Will definitely be going back at some point.

We chose a small hotel on the edge of Dartmoor. Very welcoming and friendly staff operating through COVID-19 restrictions. Good food but glad we mentioned the “Afternoon Tea” in advance as the proprietors said it was only a “cream tea with scones, not a full “afternoon tea” as they were not paid enough. However, they were very accommodating and did add some sandwiches and cake.

We were bought this stay as a gift last Christmas a d we've just returned from a wonderful stay. The staff at the hotel we stayed at were all most welcoming, the room was clean, well catered for and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The hotel was well placed for sightseeing and in our short stay we were lucky enough to see Filey, Robin hoods Bay and Whitby. To sum it up, a lovely stay and we were sorry to be leaving so soon.

This was a Christmas present that we had to rebook twice due to covid but Yvonne the owner very helpful. Very comfortable hotel, we paid a supplement to have a 4 poster bed with sea views. Car park opposite so that was easy. Lovely food, clean and warm - happy to recommend Orchard House hotel in Lynmouth.

What a lovley place, we had a great 2 night stay with afternoon tea. The room was lovley bed comfy very spacious. Afternoon tea was nice we enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking onsite. Would be happy to return.

The hotel itself was good. However, they seem to keep 2 rooms at the back of the bar area for these breaks. The room was very small. No ventilation- windows would not open. Everything felt damp in the room.

Bought as a Christmas present and took a while to sort actual dates out. Hotel was quite basic and quality of breakfast, which we paid a supplement for, was poor and we wished that we had only paid for just one and not the two mornings. As for the afternoon tea, which was part of the package - to which we invited and paid for friends to join us - it was very poor and for the £20 paid certainly by value for the money!
