What did you get up to?
We visited the Lace Market Hotel in Nottingham for dinner bed and breakfast. The Lace Market Hotel’s location right in the centre of Nottingham means it’s surrounded by a fantastic array of bars and restaurants. We had a great lunch in a Vietnamese café called Coco Tang that was highly recommended and for good reason. Following that on the short walk back to the hotel we had a few drinks at a bar that is inside a medieval church which was a truly unique and great experience. After an afternoon out and around this beautiful part of Nottingham we had a tasty 2 course meal at the hotel which was included and also a glass each of wine which went down great along with the meal. The stay ended with a comfortable night’s sleep on the king size bed and a delicious breakfast that included a wide variety of hot and cold options from croissants to eggs benedict. Overall we had a great stay and I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking to go to Nottingham or just generally for a city break.
What did you enjoy the most?
Our favourite part of the experience was being able spread out of the deluxe King size bed after a long day of sightseeing eating and drinking across the beautiful part of Nottingham that surrounds the hotel.
1. Make sure you save plenty of room for the dinner as the portions are very generous.
2. Get yourself a doughnut from Doughnotts – Death by chocolate is my recommendation.
3. Have a sit and a drink at the pitcher & piano in the church a few steps down from the hotel
