Description

Learn to make chocolates like the professionals throughout this fabulous workshop. You’ll be shown the many tricks of the trade alongside lots of tasting too.

This chocolate making workshop for one lasts approximately two and a half hours. Your voucher includes all of the necessary ingredients, packaging, boxes and ribbon, different kinds of chocolate and tasters, a chocolate mould, unlimited tea and coffee, and if you’re lucky, a prize for best decorated lolly.

Following a welcome briefing and refreshments, you’ll be given a brief overview of the session followed by a demonstration on chocolate making by a professional chocolatier.

Everyone will each make their own unique and individual ganache (cream and chocolate based filling) using a wide range of natural ingredients and then pipe this into their chocolate moulds.

Whilst your chocolate moulds are chilling you’ll be taught how to professionally decorate chocolates using fine piping techniques. After a brief practice session, you’ll put your new found skills to the test in a lolly decorating competition.

At the end of the session, you’ll be able to enjoy your very own chocolate creations, which normally averages around 21 pieces each. Whether you choose to share them with family and friends or keep them all to yourself, we won’t judge.

Chocolate Treasure Hunt for Two

VIEW

No

Description

It’s fast, it’s furious, it’s creative, it’s witty and it’s a highly entertaining activity for all ages. In this race against the clock, you will need to use your thinking skills to solve a series of clues, scavenge a number of items, take some brilliantly creative snaps and win some great prizes! You can work in pairs or in a team of up to ten people.

Strategy and Clue Solving - After you have been briefed, you and your companions will head off with a treasure hunt pack filled with clues, riddles, maps and - of course - essential chocolate supplies. You will have to work together to set the strategy, solve the clues, plan the route and get the questions answered.

Scavenger Points and Photo Challenges - You will be given bags of chocolate coins, to ‘bribe’ your way to gathering the scavenger items. During the race, you will also need to keep your eyes peeled and wits about you to collect the photo bonus points. There will be lots of chances to get some great snaps, so everyone can get their pose on!

Prizes - The more clues you solve, the better the prize - but, whatever size the prize, everyone will leave with a bag of delicious Belgian chocolate to take home and enjoy.

Please note, this gift is for two people but the venue will require a group of 6 for the hunt to go ahead so you will be paired up with other treasure hunters. MyChocolate will give you as much notice as possible for any bookings that cannot go ahead due to lack of participants.

The Knot Churros LTD, South Kensington

Michael from Customer Service, April 2023

What did you get up to?
As soon as I saw this location I knew my bestie would absolutely love it, so I had to take her! The décor is stunning, you walk in through this incredible hyacinth light fixture that covers the entire entrance and are immediately hit by the smell of cinnamon churros and popcorn! There’s neon lights, flamingos and palm trees as well as a swing-bench for taking selfies to post on Insta! Through no fault of their own they opened the bistro late, so the service was slow to begin with, but the staff more than made up for it as they were so welcoming and attentive.
The food was incredible and we were blown away by just how much you got with the voucher. You get ten churros with dips, ice cream, candy floss, popcorn, any of their delicious hot or cold drinks and the most amazing bagels I have ever tasted.
What did you enjoy the most?
I highly recommend the caprese bagels; they’re mozzarella, pesto and sundried tomatoes on a soft warm bagel. They made a welcome accompaniment to all of the sweet churros and candyfloss! We were worried that the hot chocolate might have been too rich considering all the sugar, but it was so light and delicious!

Top Tip
1. Be sure to attend on an empty stomach, but don’t worry if you can’t eat it all they’re happy to provide you with a take-away box upon request!
2. The location is situated in the heart of South Kensington and there’s some great shopping options nearby, as well as the Natural History Museum within a 5-minute walk.
