Hiver was born out of an admiration for London's urban beekeepers and a passion for craft beer. They use only British ingredients and suppliers and ferment with raw honey to produce their range, which offers a great interpretation of this fantastic beer style. Through Hiver's experiences, they want to spread the love and respect they have for honey bees, and the taste of their delicious beers. Honey and beer, what's not to love?
The two-hour session starts with a short introduction to bees and beekeeping in the city / countryside, the equipment and tools commonly used by beekeepers as well as a first glimpse inside the hive. You'll then get suited and booted ready for a hive inspection and the chance to help Hiver's resident beekeeper in handling the frames and checking the health of the hive. After the fun of getting up close and personal with the 'Ladies', you'll relax over a tutored beer and food matching session before leaving you to explore the rest of Bee Urban and answer any questions you might have.
