Kerry Vale Vineyard is a small, family run, English vineyard situated on the Welsh / English border of rural Shropshire. Planted in 2010 and covering six acres of farmland, on what was the Roman Fort of Pentrheyling, the vineyard resides at the eastern tip of the Vale of Kerry - an area of exceptional beauty , just 3 miles south of the charming town of Montgomery.
Kerry Vale Vineyard run vineyard tours three times a week and have a Wine Café, art gallery and Cellar Door shop which is open throughout the season for morning coffee, lunches and afternoon tea.
Your tour will begin in the contemporary custom built visitor centre where you can observe the vineyard and beautiful surrounding countryside and hills from a bird's eye view with a refreshing cup of tea or coffee.
You will then be taken on an escorted tour of the vineyard where your experienced and knowledgeable tour guide will provide an overview of the grape growing process, explain a little about the history of English wine and discuss how they harvest ready for wine making. You will also discover the secrets of the vineyard's impressive roman history.
On completion of your tour you will enjoy a selection of delicious English wines and a tasty cheese platter of locally sourced English and Welsh cheeses accompanied by tasty chutneys, pickles and crusty bread. You will also receive a complimentary glass of wine per person, to enjoy with your cheese platter.
When can you go?
This experience is available on selected Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday dates, From April to October.

This experience will last approximately 2-3 hours.

The minimum age for this experience is 18 years old.
If you have any dietary requirements, please make the vineyard aware upon booking.
You will need to have a level of general fitness as there is some walking involved.
