Master the delicate art of Dim Sum at the London Cookery School. With over 100 different types of Dim Sum there is quite literally something to suit everyone’s taste.
This class will cover all the basics such as learning about the different ingredients and fillings of Dim Sum to even pronouncing them correctly.
Under the helpful guidance of an experienced Chinese chef, you will follow step by step instruction from making and rolling the dough, preparing and mixing the fillings, forming the dumplings and cooking them.
You will learn how to make Har Gow, (Prawn Dumplings), Chiu Chow Fun Gwor (Chiu Chow steamed dumplings) and Sui Mai (Open top Steamed Pork Dumplings). Finally you will be able to sit down to eat your own creations complemented by Chinese tea.
After your class, you will be provided with a list of recommended products that have been used and a recipe booklet will be sent to you afterwards showing you all the recipes covered in the class.
This experience is available Monday to Sunday, throughout the year.
This experience will last approximately 3½ hours.
This experience is for one person, there will be other people there on the day.
The minimum age for this experience is 16 years old.
This is for a voucher entitling the holder to any of the activities supplied by Activity Superstore up to the value stated.

It was really satisfying to go from making and rolling out the dough, to steaming the parcels and seeing them form. At the end of the session, once all Dim Sum were cooked, we were able to eat everything we had made. Needless to say, I was absolutely stuffed!"
