Netherstowe House is a stylish boutique hotel in the Cathedral City of Lichfield. Well-known for its charm and attentive personal service, the hotel in Staffordshire offers an irresistible blend of modern comforts and classic Georgian style.

This garden-themed afternoon tea treat is a deliciously imaginative take on tradition! Inspired by all things home-grown, the botany-themed fancies are served in flowerpots on a pretty lawn presentation plate: The ‘organic Flower Pot’ - spiced carrot cake with Chantilly cream, divine chocolate soil, fresh herbs and edible flowers - and the ‘Pick Your Own Pot’ - macerated strawberries, strawberry cream, crushed meringue and melt-in-your-mouth chocolate soil. You will also enjoy French macarons with freshly baked scones and seasonal jam.

To top it all off, the English Garden Afternoon tea is served with a palette-cleansing flowering tea. A taste sensation, individual tea leaves and dried aromatic flowers are hand-tied to form a tea bud that not only looks beautiful but, when supped, is said to hold homeopathic qualities. Eight different flowering teas are available to choose from. Finally, a flute of Prosecco is provided per person.
