Café Rouge, Cambridge

This was my first time ever trying an afternoon tea and I was pleasantly surprised, although this tea was a little unusual as it had French twist it still felt very quaint and traditional. The staff at Café Rouge were extremely polite and accommodating, giving us a few options of tables we could sit at including outside! The tea consisted of Croque Monsieur (my personal favourite), scones with cream and jam, a selection of cakes and desserts along with an option of tea or coffee. There was plenty of food for two people we couldn’t even finish all of the cake! Once we had finished we gave the waitress our voucher and left, the whole process was easy and hassle free. Overall a very enjoyable experience and something I would defiantly recommend to friends and family as an alternative to a traditional afternoon tea.
Make sure you’re hungry as this afternoon tea is deceivingly filling.
