Based in the town of Wroxeter, this lovely vineyard is a family run business, where the land has over 2000 years’ worth of history. Vines were first grown in this location in 50AD, when wine making was introduced to Britain by the Romans. This delightful experience lifts the lid on the making and tasting of wine.
Your day will start with a treat as you sit down for a scrumptious afternoon tea, which will consist of, freshly made sandwiches, cakes, scones, tea & coffee.
You will then get the chance to visit the vineyard and learn the history of the land going back to the Romans explaining how this family run business began. At the end of your tour you will have the chance to taste five wines grown at the vineyard.
