Yes I recommend this product.
This was bought for me and I wasn't sure what to expect. The horses were brought out and we were told we would be known by the name of the horse for the duration of the ride. A few black and white cobs came out named variously then a big black horse came out and that day I was known as Zorro, half shire half cob (him, not me :-) ). That was the start of a really memorable experience on a western saddle riding western style (it hurts if you're a man and get it wrong, so you learn fast). The staff were friendly and the ride into the New Forest really enjoyable and something I'll treasure.

Yes I recommend this product.
I really enjoyed the ride once we were off the road. On leaving the centre, they take you on to a busy road to get to the forest and it was quite nerve wracking for a complete novice! Luckily all the horses were well behaved and obviously used to it. Would recommend it but I think they should point out about the road bit in advance so you are aware.

Really enjoyed my Western Horse Ride - Mine was a present but I bought an extra one for my partner so we could go together - Only slight downside was that as it been raining heavily we could not go as far as I would have liked and being classed as beginners we only walked not trotted or more - although maybe that was just as well as neither of us had ridden for a very long time! The basic instruction and guides were very good and the mounts were fine - I would definitely recommend this and may well go back again for a further ride in the future The venue might have benefited from a bit of a spruce up but was completely adequate for the activity
Amazing location, beautiful scenery, lovely staff and great horses. I very much enjoyed the Western style hack, and was glad we were able to pick up the pace for the occasional trot/jog. I would have liked there to have been slightly more information/training provided on riding Western, but appreciate this is hard to do with a big group in the time allowed. I was able to ask lots of questions during the ride however and the ride leader was very helpful and knowledgeable.
My husband brought me this for Christmas as I ride regularly and have always wanted to ride western style. For a beginner it's brilliant but for me it was boring don't cater for the advanced rider
