Costumed guides will show you around the house and re-tell the extraordinary story of William Shakespeare, the boy from Stratford-upon-Avon who started from humble beginnings and went on to become a household name all over the world.
Watch the resident acting troupe, Shakespeare Aloud, bring your favourite Shakespearean characters to life and visit the ‘Shakespeare’s Treasures’ exhibition to view rare and priceless artefacts including documents of Shakespeare’s baptism and burial recorded in the Holy Trinity Parish register, as well as a copy of the first folio of his complete works, and a signet ring thought to have belonged to the great writer.
