Afternoon Tea Cruise for Two on the Thames

Description

Discover the magic of the city from the unique perspective of the Thames whilst enjoying sandwiches, pastries and scones, as well as an assortment of teas accompanied by music from a solo pianist. Picture sipping on a cup of fine tea such as Darjeeling, with an assortment of afternoon delights as you drift along the river and take in the magnificence that is the London skyline. The perfect way to spend an afternoon. All pastries and sandwiches are prepared on board ensuring you are served the freshest and most delicious treats.

On arrival you will be shown to your table and seated. Your afternoon tea will include a selection of freshly made sandwiches, delicious pastries and succulent cakes as well as an assortment of teas. To accompany your afternoon tea there will be some entertainment from a solo pianist.

Please note that you will need to book a date for the afternoon tea cruise in advance, and dates are subject to availability. You will receive a voucher to take part in your experience. This should be handed in at the Bateaux London Office before boarding the boat for your cruise and afternoon tea. You will board from Embankment Pier at 3.15pm.

Bateaux London has two vessels, The Harmony and The Symphony which create the perfect atmosphere for guests to enjoy the spectacular views of London's magnificent attractions including the London Eye, Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe, Tower of London and Tower Bridge.

Gin Tasting Cruise with Canapes for Two

This experience will see guests enjoying a warm welcome aboard the vintage motor yacht which will be taking gin lovers on a cruise around the Dorset coast. The views are unparalleled, the gin is exquisite and the whole event is designed to provide gin lovers with a chance to taste some of the finest blends available, all mixed with top quality tonics enhanced with natural flavourings.

There are gin menus which feature a range of ten carefully crafted gins, accompanied by canapés which have been specially chosen to complement them and bring out the flavours of these deliciously mixed drinks. Oxford Afternoon Tea River Cruise for Two

Description

The city of dreaming spires not only has an impressively diverse skyline but it also boasts truly spectacular views from the river. As one of the most famous stretches of the Thames outside London, millions have been inspired by this part of the river, including Jerome K Jerome, who set some of his world-famous ‘Three Men in a Boat’ in the area and Lewis Carroll who would take the infamous Alice on journeys down the river.
 
This experience is a chance to soak in the glorious countryside that can be spotted from the water, as well as taking in a completely new perspective on some of the most famous sights, including the College Boat Houses, Christ Church, Folly Bridge and the water meadows. Eagle-eyed guests may spot some of the local wildlife and photographers will relish the chance to capture some incredible shots. Riverboat Dining Cruise with Canal Boat Cruises

Relax and indulge in a delicious lunch aboard a warm and cosy narrow boat slowly cruising along the picturesque Leeds-Liverpool Canal. You'll travel from the Riley Green Marina, through to Withnell Fold Nature Reserve, past the old Withnell Fold paper mill, through delightful countryside set against the stunning backdrop of the famous Hoghton Tower where James I Knighted the loin of beef Sirloin. Then it’s onto the lovely hamlet of Wheelton and Johnson Hillocks where the boat will descend and ascend two locks before the boat commences the return journey.
