Surprise a royal enthusiast with a majestic day of regal splendour. Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence for the British monarch since 1837 and has become one of the nation’s most beloved landmarks.
Now you can catch a glimpse into life inside the Palace and explore the State Rooms, where The Queen and other members of the Royal Family entertain their guests on State and other ceremonial and official occasions.
The State Rooms are made up of 19 individual rooms and are lavishly furnished with amazing treasures from the Royal Collection. Highlights include paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens and Claude; sculpture by Canova and Chantrey, as well as some of the finest English and French furniture in the world.
After you have explored the State Rooms, you will head to The Grosvenor Hotel in Victoria where you can enjoy a traditional afternoon tea including a selection of handcrafted tea cakes, mini rich butter fruit scones, fruit preserves, Devonshire clotted cream and traditional open and closed finger sandwiches.
