Escape the ordinary and experience the awesome at The Bear Grylls Adventure, located at Birmingham’s NEC. Choose a challenge from Archery, Shooting or Climbing.
No matter which experience you choose, your Adventure Guides will inspire you, encourage you and support you through each step of your journey so you can push your limits and reach new achievements with each experience. Adventure is for everyone, and each experience offers opportunities to try something new at this world’s first attraction.
Your Challenge offers you the chance to choose between three different activities, each one as adrenaline-fuelled as the next, but in different ways. Feel the rush of hitting the target in Archery, enjoy an Indoor Climbing adventure inspired by breath taking terrains from across the world, or test your aiming skills in Shooting.
- Choose from two of the following three activities:
Archery: Expert tuition from long-bow experts
Climbing: More than 20 routes, bouldering area, different levels for all abilities
Shooting: Expert instruction with air pistols
Minimum age: Suitable for ages 8+. 8 and 9 year olds must be accompanied on the activity by a participating adult. Those aged 10 – 16 years old must have an adult present on site, but this adult does not have to participate in the activity if they do not wish to. 10-13 parent needs to be in the building throughout, 14-17 parent needs to sign waiver but doesn’t need to remain on site. For Shooting: 10 years old. Those under 16 must be accompanied on the activity by a participating adult. Minors must be accompanied for Shooting with a ratio of one adult to one under 16 year old. For Archery & Climbing the minimum age is 5 years old. Those under 16 must be accompanied on the activity by a participating adult
This experience is available Monday to Sunday, throughout the year. Excludes Christmas Day.
Enjoy 4 hours of activities at the attraction.
This experience is for two people, there will be other people there on the day.
Minimum age 8. 8 and 9 year olds must be accompanied on the activity by a participating adult.
Weight and height restrictions apply, please refer to experience description. Due to the nature of this experience pregnant guests are unable to take part. You will need to sign a waiver before the day to bring along with you.
