
The National Botanic Garden of Wales is a charity dedicated to the research and conservation of biodiversity, to sustainability, lifelong learning and the enjoyment of the visitor. Take a tranquil, lakeside stroll, marvel at the amazing Mediterranean plant collection in the Great Glasshouse, enjoy the newly restored Regency landscape or explore the fields and meadows of the Waun Las Nature Reserve.
You and a friend can enjoy Afternoon Tea - Welsh style, accompanied by some lovely chilled Prosecco. You will be surrounded by some of the world's most endangered plants in the National Botanic Garden of Wales' iconic Glasshouse. Designed by Norman Foster and Partners, the Great Glasshouse is poised on the Welsh landscape like a giant raindrop. This spectacular dome is the largest single-span great glasshouse in the world.
You and a friend will sit amongst the 3,500 square metres of rocky terraces, sandstone cliffs and gravelled scree slopes and enjoy a Welsh Afternoon Tea with Prosecco. This includes tea or coffee, a selection of sandwiches, welsh cakes, Scones with jam and clotted cream, a selection of cakes as well as some lovely chilled Prosecco. Your package also includes a mini hamper of bespoke National Botanic Garden of Wales Gifts to share. Once you're done taking in the breath taking greenery of the Glasshouse's inhabitants you are free to enjoy the rest of the grounds.

You can enjoy entry to garden from 10.00am-16.00pm. The afternoon tea lasts an hour.
This experience is for two people, there will be other people there on the day.
