There are plenty of things that make Britain great, arguably the best of which is our beautiful countryside - from the Highlands to the West Country and everywhere in between you can see stunning scenery, dramatic coastlines and discover the secrets of our nation’s flora and fauna. Our coastal regions are equally exciting with beautiful sea views and that special sea air smell that seems to transport us away.
From mountains and valleys to moorland and beaches, the National Parks encompass some of the rarest and most beautiful natural phenomena the countryside has to offer. Our coastlines tell their own unique story and offer a variety of bays, headlands, islands and peninsulas, but also the traditional British seaside experiences of fish and chips and end of the pier entertainment.
So if you’re keen to learn more about our country’s hidden glory, want to get out and about in the countryside or explore the coastal areas we’re famous for, then this is the perfect choice for you.
Whilst modern life has left its mark on many of the UK’s most popular short break destinations, there is something about a trip to the seaside that retains a charm which harks back to traditional holidays from simpler times.
Whether you have fond memories of donkey rides across the sand and knobbly knee competitions or you just enjoy the bracing effects of the sea air and a chance to paddle, this break is ideal for anyone who likes to be beside the seaside. There is nothing quite like a stroll along the beach with the tide lapping at your feet and the sound of seagulls overhead. You can walk along the pier and try your hand at the variety of amusements on offer, sit on the beach and enjoy the sound of the surf crashing on the shore or even test your mettle with some water sports if you’re really feeling adventurous.
You will be able to choose from a selection of seaside B&Bs in coastal locations throughout the UK, details of which will be provided in your booking instructions.

Camping can be great fun and this experience allows you to enjoy all the joys of camping without having to rough it.
If you're not aspiring to be Bear Grylls then this experience is a great alternative and could be seen more as glamping than clamping with its comfortable and inviting camping pods. The camping pods resemble wooden huts and have many advantages over most tents. For a start, they are guaranteed to stay dry inside, which is particularly handy when you can’t rely on the great British weather. If you're looking for a short break away to escape somewhere different and quirky with your partner, camping pods are the perfect getaway.
This voucher entitles two adults to a two night's stay in a camping pod. You can book additional nights at an extra fee at time of booking. Camping pods are generally empty shells so for comfort we recommend you take blow up beds and bedding, however, this does not apply to all pods and we advise that you check on booking. Restrictions may apply to days of the week and months of the year for some locations.
*Please note, at the Paignton location you are unable to take pets.
