Each month you will receive a different blend of freshly roasted coffee, from around the world. With this subscription you’ll receive a single 250g bag of ground coffee once a month for five months. What did you receive?
For the first month I was sent a pack of CLO's Nicaragua Peralta Estates coffee. I chose the 'filter' grind size option on their website, which meant the coffee came ground to the perfect consistency for the coffee maker I use. The 'tasting notes' on the bag suggested hints of cocoa, cinammon and honeycomb flavours - and they didn't disappoint! The brewed coffee was rich, smooth and aromatic.
Included in the package was a card discussing the farm where the coffee was actually grown, and a very handy little booklet with instructions for brewing with different coffee makers.

What was your favourite part?
I really loved trying a unique coffee sourced from an individual estate on the other side of the world! Rarely do we know exactly where our every day coffee has come from, so it was really interesting to try a speciality coffee selected from a single location, with a characteristic flavour, and to read about how it was grown and harvested.
I couldn't wait to try each new variety delivered to my door each month, and I'm looking forward to sampling more of CLO's beans in the future!
