Snowboarding was invented in the 1960's in the USA and has grown in popularity all around the world ever since. Considered to be one of the more difficult but ultimately thrilling extreme sports, snowboarding requires you to carve and meander your way down a slope while staying firmly strapped to a trusty plank. Experts are able to perform gravity-defying tricks and reach speeds of over 80mph! You may not be learning how to do this just yet, but these lessons are the best way enjoy snowboarding right here in the UK, no matter what your ability.

On booking it's important you state your level of experience whether you are a complete beginner or you just want to brush up on your skills so you can be put into the correct lesson. You may be asked to arrive up to half an hour before your appointed lesson time to give you time to collect your equipment and get changed. Then you will have an initial safety briefing and you're off to the slopes!

When can you go?

This experience is available on selected Monday to Sunday dates, throughout the year.

How long does this activity last?

Your session will last for approximately 1½ to 2 hours, but allow extra time to get your equipment.

You need to know

The minimum age for this experience is 17 years.
You will need to have general fitness to be able to participate in this activity. This activity is not suitable if you are pregnant, have a bad back or a heart condition.
This experience is for all levels and abilities, however please make it clear on booking what level you feel you are at.
