Below is a list of the activities to choose from.

Introduction to water skiing

  • Feel the wind on your face and the sensation of water flowing under your feet as you experience the thrill of being pulled along by a boat at high speed. A must for all adrenaline junkies!
  • After a quick session of on-land training you will be ready to take to the water. You slip into your bindings and then you’re up on your skis for the first time. Pretty soon you’ll progress from coming out of the water, to moving around. It’s amazing how easily you can pick up the balance and riding technique, helped by our experienced and fully qualified instructors.
  • Available on selected Monday - Sunday dates, between April and October.
  • The experience lasts approximately 20-30 minutes, which will probably be split into 2 sessions.
  • You must be at least 12 years old to do this activity and under 16s should bring an adult spectator.
  • You need to be a confident swimmer (50 metres). The minimum shoe size is 37 (size 4). Please make your instructor aware of any medical conditions (such as epilepsy, diabetes and heart condition) prior to the activity. Not suitable for pregnant women.
  • No experience or qualifications are necessary for your adventure.
  • You will be taught on an individual basis.

White Water Rafting - Man Made Rapids

  • Thunderous noise, churning water and rapids all around you - this is the unbelievable thrill of white water rafting! Only the strength and determination of you and your team will get you through the rapids. You will raft on state-of-the-art man made rapids, which are guaranteed to give you lots of white water excitement!
  • The session begins with a safety talk and tuition to perfect your paddling technique. Then, under the guidance of your qualified instructor, you and the rest of the group will travel in an inflatable raft up to 5 times in this 2 hour session. This is an activity of sheer excitement - you will love it, although you are bound to get very, very wet! Programmes may vary according to location.
  • Selected Monday - Friday dates with the odd Saturday and Sunday, all year - although end September to April is best for natural white water rafting.
  • The total experience lasts approximately 2-3½ hours, which includes kitting up and safety briefing.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to participate in this activity.
  • Please advise us if you have any medical conditions which may affect your activity. White water rafting is not always suitable for contact lenses & glasses wearers. The maximum weight is 95kg (15 stone) and pregnant women should not do this activity.

White Water Rafting - Natural Rapids

  • Enjoy the thrill of natural white water rapids in the breathtaking setting of the beautiful Scottish Highlands or Welsh mountains. Thunderous noise, churning water and rapids all around you - this is the unbelievable thrill of white water rafting! Only the strength and determination of you and your team will get you through the rapids.
  • On arrival you will be kitted out with safety equipment. You will then be given a thorough safety briefing and will be professionally looked after by one of the qualified guides before getting onto the river. The water grade varies depending on the location and time of year. After your runs you will return to the centre to change into warm dry clothes. You may be required to help carry the raft and equipment during your experience. Please be aware that this activity can be cancelled at short notice due to water levels and this should be kept in mind when booking any overnight accommodation.

Fly Fishing

  • Enjoy personal tuition from a professional instructor on one of the UK's beautiful trout lakes and rivers. You'll be "wet fly" fishing - this means that you are using a fly travelling through the water to attract the fish. It's much more of a skill than "course fishing", but easier to learn than "dry fly fishing". This is a great opportunity to try your hand at one of life's more serene activities.
  • After a warm welcome on arrival you'll first learn a little about the theory behind the art of fly fishing and have the opportunity to get to grips with casting before you go down to the water. With a fly attached to your line you try your luck, with the instructor always on hand to advise on fishing techniques. Savour the fresh air and tranquillity and you never know you might catch a trout or two! All the equipment you need is provided.

  • Your activity will last for approximately 2 hours.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to participate in this activity.
  • There are no fitness restrictions for this activity.
  • The activity is most suited for those beginning fly fishing, or those who want to improve their technique.

Gliding with a Winch Launch

  • Let us introduce you to this absorbing sport at some of the top clubs in the country. It's a fantastic chance to experience the excitement of powerless flight and to take in the wonderful scenery unfolding below you.
  • After a pre-flight briefing, you will be strapped into the glider with your instructor. The glider is attached to a winch by a cable, and in a few moments you will be airborne! Once the cable is released you will search out some thermals and then gently glide back down to earth.
  • Monday to Sunday (selected dates depending on the location), all year although April to September are the best months for flying.
  • The length of the flight will vary according to conditions but will be approximately 8 - 15 minutes.
  • You must be at least 16 years old (under 18 years need parental consent).
  • This activity is not suitable if pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, or heart conditions. The maximum weight is 102kg (16 stone) and maximum height 1.88m (6ft 2).

Grand Prix Karting

  • Karting tests your driving skill and endurance to the utmost, so it's no surprise that this is the training ground for today's top Formula One drivers. We've selected some of the country's most demanding circuits so you can be sure of a fun-packed, exciting time.
  • On arriving at the centre your instructor will begin with a safety briefing, some instructions on your kart controls and you'll be provided with some protective clothing. To familiarise you with the karts and the circuit there will be a few initial practice laps. Then the competitive action begins with a typical programme consisting of a series of thrilling heats, semi-finals and top performers experiencing a heart-thumping final. And, if you're the fastest round the track you'll be awarded a prize trophy - what a great souvenir to take home to remind you of your special day out! The precise programme may vary at each activity venue.

  • The total experience will last approximately 1½ to 4 hours depending on the location.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to participate in this activity.
  • This is quite a physical activity and may not be suitable if you have weak arms, heart complaints etc. The minimum height is 1.34m (4ft 5), the maximum is 1.98 (6ft 6). The maximum weight is 114kg (18 stone).

Circus Skills

  • Ever wanted to run away to join the circus? Well, now you can - for a day at least! This is a unique opportunity to learn some exotic circus skills such as juggling and flying trapeze at a top professional training school.
  • After a 20 minute warm-up, you will get the chance to have a taster session in some of the following: * flying trapeze * juggling * tight wire walking * acrobatic balancing This all takes place in a supportive and carefully controlled environment. The session lasts for 3½ hours and is divided into 4 sectors where each group has approximately 45 minutes on each discipline.

  • You must be at least 14 years old, under 16's need to be accompanied by an adult.

Wakeboarding

  • Get involved with the fastest growing, coolest and most fun way to take to the water. Wakeboarding is an exciting mix of snowboarding, surfing and skateboarding. You are towed behind a powerful boat and use its wake to pull off a whole range of insane tricks. It’s easy to learn, great fun to do!
  • After a quick session of on-land training you will be ready to take to the water. You slip into your bindings and then you’re up on your board for the first time. Pretty soon you’ll progress from coming out of the water, to moving around and eventually with luck - jumping the wakes. It’s amazing how easily you can pick up the balance and riding technique, helped by our experienced and fully qualified instructors.

  • The total experience involves two 10 to 15 minute sessions on the water.
  • To take part in this activity you must be at least 12 years old.

Snowboarding

  • This is a great chance to learn the latest sports craze of snowboarding. Lessons take place at one of the country's permanent snow all the year round venues.
  • You should arrive half an hour before your appointed lesson time to give you time to collect your ticket and get changed. Then you will have an initial safety briefing and you're off to the slopes. The lesson will cover equipment and basic skills. After one hour there may be a very short break off the slope to allow different students to join you for the second session. There will be a maximum of four participants per instructor.

  • Your snowboarding session will last for about 2 hours, but allow extra time to get your equipment.
  • To participate in this activity you must be at least 16 years old.

  • Get wet-suited and booted and learn to ride the waves!
  • Enjoy a day of surfing with a qualified instructor. They will take you to some of the best surfing beaches in Newquay, where you will enjoy the thrill of surfing your first wave - an experience you will never forget! Beach safety, surfing skills both on the beach and in the water, standing up and turning are just some of the techniques you will achieve. During the full day you will have a great chance to master and improve these techniques.

Coasteering

  • Be a kid once more! But this time you're actually encouraged to jump off cliffs, swim in caves and climb sheer rock faces! This is a varied and exhilarating day out.
  • Coasteering is a wacky combination of rock climbing, scrambling, swimming and cliff jumping. After a briefing on safety and technique it’s time to head out for the wide blue yonder, working out the best route with your team mates and dodging the waves as you go. When the going gets too steep, it’s time to jump and swim the short distance to the next easy climb. As you climb around the cliffs there are caves to explore and wildlife to see. Always different - never boring!

  • To participate in this activity you must be at least 8 years old.
  • Adventure activities can be tiring but do not require a high level of fitness. Customers will be required to complete a simple 'Health Declaration' before taking part. Concern over medical/ health issues should be checked before purchase.

Bungee Jump

  • Leap towards the earth with the world's maddest sport. You will be amazed by the sensation of falling to earth - and the extraordinary feeling of being pulled upwards by the elasticated rope. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
  • With your feet still firmly on the ground, you will be weighed and be brought up to speed on safety procedures. You will be fitted with your harnesses before being winched up in the cage with a jump master. Once he's convinced everything is okay, it will be "3-2-1 BUNGEE" and off you go! Please note that all booking times are approximate. The Club operates a ticket system: you will be given a numbered ticket when you register which you will be asked to present prior to your jump. Whilst you are waiting there is plenty to watch!

  • This is a great chance to enjoy a fast and furious ride with a top rally driver.
  • How much action can you handle? Take the ultimate ride in the awesome 200Bhp MG ZR Rally car, Pirelli Pro rally star Matt Stephens* will blast you down a real rally stage. Feel the adrenaline pump as you witness left foot braking, balancing the car through corners, perform handbrake turns and car control that will leave you breathless in the co-driver's seat! It doesn't get any closer to the action. Dumper Racing

  • An exciting race/skill challenge on dumpers involving co-ordination and nerve.
  • On average each competitor takes part in two different heats racing against the clock and each competitors, with the fastest times qualifying to reach the final head to head, then on to victory to win the coveted Diggerland goodie pack.
  • Generally the last Friday evening of the month, March to November.
  • Your dumper experience will last for approximately 2½ hours.
  • To participate in this activity you need to be at least 17 years old.
  • If you suffer from epilepsy or any other medical condition which prohibits driving then you will not be able to take part.
  • You will need a full valid driving licence to take part.
  • There will be up to 30 other people in your group.

Rally Drive and Ride

  • There's no doubt that this drive and ride activity means fast and furious excitement!
  • On arrival you will be given a safety briefing and refreshments and then the action will begin!! You will be given the chance to drive a performance car yourself - typically a Subaru Impreza WRX, with expert tuition from your instructor. Then you will experience a high speed chauffeured ride of outrageous powerslides and exhilarating acceleration - typically the Dax Rush or 205 GTi Peugeot depending on the location. All vehicle types are subject to availability.

  • You will have approximately 5 minutes in each car, but you should allow 1 hour at the venue.

Quad Bikes

  • There is nothing quite like quad bike riding. These agile machines are a cross between motorcycle and car and have a unique riding style.
  • You will begin with a full briefing on safety, the vehicle controls and riding techniques, with plenty of time to build confidence and ability, before progressing to a longer, more varied and sometimes demanding course. You'll encounter hill climbs and descents, lumps and bumps, see-saws and narrow bridges. An experienced instructor will be riding with you all the way to advise and demonstrate on how best to tackle some of the challenges.
  • This activity is available on selected dates, throughout the year.
  • You will be at the venue for approximately 1½ hours with around 1 hour's riding time.
  • To do this activity you must be at least 16 years old. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.

Hot Laps Ride

  • Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. Relax? Yeah right!
  • You’re in the passenger seat, with your highly trained instructor and you can’t help thinking one specific thing - the person driving is utterly mad! The car is thrown into corners at unbelievable speeds, throwing you with it, the racing harnesses thankfully holding firm. In your utter desperation, you want to grab onto something but there’s nothing to grab. You’re so out of control but it’s utterly amazing. So what are you going to do? Push the panic button to put a stop to this madness, stop this whole experience? Not on your life. Ice Climbing

  • Are you up for scaling Europe's most challenging indoor ice wall?
  • On arrival at the venue you will meet your instructor, who will conduct a full safety briefing. Then it's time for you to get kitted up with all the safety gear before heading to the ice wall. Your climb will be under strict supervision of an instructor at all times and tuition is on a one to one basis. Your experience will include 40 minutes ice climbing with a 20 minute brief.
  • This activity is available Monday to Sunday, throughout the year.
  • Your experience will last for approximately 1 hour.
  • The minimum age is 13 years old, however under 16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.
  • All participants must be in reasonable health and able bodied. All participants climb at the discretion of the instructor.

High Speed Ride at Rockingham

  • Experience the exhilaration of high speed driving in either a Single Seater (two-seater) race car, American Stock car or a Pick Up Truck.
  • Feel the immense power and in-gear shove from these monsters as a real racing driver from our oval race series, takes you thundering round the oval, inches from a concrete wall. Crash helmet and race suit provided, blindfold optional. Warning: not to be taken on a full stomach! At the fastest race track in the UK experience the unique thrill of high speed chauffeured laps at competition speeds in custom built two-seater American Stock Cars, a Pick Up Truck or a Single Seater (two-seater) race car. It's no holds barred as your professional racing driver takes you on to the track for three thrilling laps of our Oval track at speeds of up to 170mph! Please note, we cannot guarantee which vehicle will be used on the day.
  • This experience runs generally once a month, usually on Saturdays with occasional weekdays, March to November.
  • Your experience will last for approximately 30 minutes.

Off Road Taster Driving

  • Head for the hills across some rough, tough terrain in a hardy 4-wheel drive vehicle. You'll be amazed by what a four wheel drive vehicle can do. Mud, holes, gullies, steep slopes - the most rugged terrain can be crossed if you have the skills. We have carefully selected the best off road driving locations in the country. All will give you some seriously challenging driving in some beautiful locations. We have also made sure the quality of driving tuition is the best.
  • Your session begins with an introductory briefing on off roading technique, together with an explanation of 4WD systems. The instructor will do a demonstration drive, and then it's time for you to take turns at the wheel! 15 minutes are actually spent behind the wheel by each participant but the whole programme is spent in the car.

Aqua Sphereing for Two

  • Ever wondered what it's like in a washing machine? Take two averagely sized, logically challenged people, one Sphere and a sizeable hill and what have you got? The latest extreme activity which will see you writhing around in a spherical universe where the sky is the ground and the ground is the sky and your stomach made a bid for freedom some time ago. You'll love it!
  • With no harnesses you are completely free in the Sphere, as you and a friend slip and slide around inside the ball with thirty litres of water. Instead of being thrown around with the ball, you link arms with your fellow victim and slide together down a hill, riding the water.
  • This experience is available on weekends and selected weekdays, from April to September.

Indoor Bungee Jump

  • Imagine... You're enveloped in semi-darkness, spotlights are whirling around Magna’s breathtaking structure, standing 150 feet tall. You commence the 143 step climb to the jump zone, music pumps out of speakers, and seven huge video screens project images of what you are about to experience and that’s before you’ve even taken the plunge.
  • On arrival you will be required to complete a membership form and given a full safety briefing and will be weighed to ensure the correct bungee rope is used. You will make your way up to the top of the jump zone - then, all that's left is for you to leap off, forwards or backwards, it's up to you!
  • This experience takes place on selected Saturdays and Sundays, all year.
  • The experience lasts approximately 1 to 1½ hours at the venue.
  • The minimum age is 14 years old (but parental permission is required for under 18's).

Kayaking

  • Perfect for beginners or those that have kayaked before. This course on the coast of Pembrokeshire is ideal for those that want to experience the thrill of kayaking on the sea. Your Guide will make sure you learn quickly and safely before exploring the coastline. Flat water, white-water and surf are all options so whatever your ability you will have a great day with a centre of excellence for sea kayaking. During the session you will start in the shelter of a harbour before your adventure guide takes you to explore the bays, caves and waves of Britain's only coastal national park with stunning views along the coastline.

Rock Climbing

  • There is something fun and natural about finding a route, getting to grips with rock and making progress against the obstacles it presents. 5 feet or 50 feet off the ground - the moves are the same but it is what's in your head that makes all the difference.   • The session will be tailored to your ability and spirations. With a qualified local guide you will scale sandstone and depending on location you may have the chance to abseil back down. There is an enormous sense of achievement so don't forget your camera or your friends will never believe you!

Scuba Diving (for two)

  • Experience the thrill of breathing underwater in a fun, convenient session conducted in a confined water area under the tuition of a professional PADI instructor.
  • The session starts with an introduction to scuba skills and familiarisation to scuba diving equipment. Once this has taken place the PADI professional instructor takes you into the water and introduces you to scuba diving. Remember everything you do in the PADI discover scuba diving programmes may count towards diver certification levels.

Harness Sphereing for Two

  • Riding the Sphere down a hill at speeds of up to 30mph is fast-paced, exhilarating, and terrifying. Fastened in just close enough to see the fear and deranged excitement in your companion's eyes is something that you will never forget. And don't worry, with a safety harness and a 3 foot air cushion between you and the ground, you're entirely safe and free to enjoy the unique sensation of defying gravity in a controlled environment.

Indoor Skydiving

  • Imagine a wind tunnel that could be used for testing the aerodynamics of an F1 racing car, turn it upright, jump onto the airflow and you are skydiving. It's a proven concept operating in several countries to the benefit of the skydiving community and anyone else who wishes to taste the thrill of freefall in a completely safe environment.
  • After check-in there’s a short class with a video brief and instruction, then it’s off to collect your flight gear. You and your group will enter the tunnel and take it in turns to fly. You each get 2 flights of one minute each that’s about the same as three tandem skydives. In your first flights you will learn the basic freefall position. You will receive a DVD to remember your experience on the day. This experience is generally available on off peak times.

  • This experience lasts roughly 1 hour at the venue, which includes 2 flights of 1 minute each.

Western Trail Ride

  • The ride will take you out over the forest greens to ride amongst the wild forest ponies and then on into the leafy glades where you may be lucky and spot one of the many herds of deer. Beginners are welcome on the western trail which is a very relaxing way to enjoy the forest scenery, at a gentle walk and jog pace. You don’t have to be a ‘John Wayne’ to trail ride, many of our riders have never been on horses before…. so theres no excuse ‘get yer jeans on and ride the range’.
  • This activity is available most days, throughout the year.
  • Your cowboy experience will last for approximately 2½ hours.
  • The minimum age for this activity is 12 years old.
  • The maximum weight is 95kg (15 stone). This activity is suitable for beginners as well as seasoned riders. It is not suitable for pregnant women. If you are disabled you will need to have a medical certificate. Clients sign a registration certificate.

High Ropes Adventure - Adult

  • Swing from tree to tree high above the forest floor for over two hours of adrenalin-fuelled fun, laughter and adventure. This high ropes course is built in some of the tallest trees in Eastern England in the beautiful New Wood, part of Weasenham Woods in Norfolk. This experience takes aerial trekking to new extremes as you swing, climb and jump through the trees.
  • Wearing a safety harness, participants trek through the canopy across 20 different activities amongst trees as tall as 150ft. The course is a network of rope bridges, trapezes and death slides that offers an exhilarating, challenging experience, which will leave you gasping for more! The course is set at two different heights: low ropes at 20ft and high ropes at 40ft for the more extreme participant. In addition to this, feel the G-force on the 45ft 3G swing, an exhilarating ride for any participant who wants to experience the g-force effect. The swing can take three people at a time and is winched up to a maximum height of 45ft and one of the participants then releases it into a massive swing. Plus, feel the fear of the 80ft fan descender jump, which enables you to carry our a controlled vertical jump, and the sheer exhilaration of flying 1000ft down a zip wire. You will also receive a sandwich and drink from the on-site cafe to provide you with welcome refreshment following completion of the course. Finally, also included with your package is complimentary entry into the beautiful Woodland Walk around the rope course.

Mini Moto

  • If you have never seen mini moto racing before, be prepared for the wackiest motorsport on earth.
  • Mini moto is great fun for both children and adults alike and if mini motos were good enough to help world MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi get started in racing there must be something in them! You'll be testing one of the fabulous Polini engined GRC RR Mini Moto Pocket Bikes on a specially prepared track where you will get two 12 minute sessions, with a 15 minute break in-between. If you've never tried these mini motorbikes before, then after this taster session you are sure to be hooked for life!

Ski-ing Session

  • Learning to ski is a very rewarding and exciting experience, and remember you only do it once! The first lesson for beginners, includes a safety brief, introduction to the ski equipment and learning effective warm up techniques. You will side-step up the slope and descend a short distance while practicing active balance exercises. In addition you will be shown how to return to your feet after a fall and learn the snowplough brake.
  • You should arrive half an hour before your appointed lesson time to give you time to collect your ticket and get changed. Then you will have an initial safety briefing and you're off to the slopes. The lesson will cover equipment and basic skills. There will be a maximum of four participants per instructor.
