A great day out
.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day drifting down the estuary nearly to Felixstowe and Harwich. The crew were very friendly, lunch delicious and the weather very kind. We took plenty of layers of clothes with us and used the lot!! Sunny but very cold day, so we had great views and warmed up when down below. We went on to visit a pub at Pin Mill we had seen from the boat - good recommendation right on the shore.

The weather was perfect, we were invited to take an active part or just relax and enjoy the voyage. I had a turn at the helm, climbed the rigging and also helped a little with the tack.
It was a great experience.
Thames Barge Sailing
.
We enjoyed the sail, the scenery, lunch/refreshments and the company especially the crew. Of course the weather helped with some wind and clear(ish) skies.
We added a few days to the trip and did a little touring in Suffolk, we had never visited the county before - we will again!
