Lesson with a PGA Pro and a Round of Golf

Brush up your golfing skills by having a lesson with a golf professional and then put into practice what you have learned by playing a round at one of Marriott's Hotel and Country Clubs around the country. This is a great gift for beginners or more experienced players who want to finesse their style a little whilst enjoying the stunning surroundings of the courses available.

Your first part of the activity will be a lesson with one of the club's professionals. The lesson will consist of an introduction to the game and equipment and can cover all aspects of your long game (i.e. using woods, driver and irons) and your short game (practice for chipping, pitching and putting - all carried out on dedicated practice areas). The individual lesson lasts approximately 30 to 40 minutes. You will then move onto the resort course for your round of golf (without the professional).

How long does this activity last?

You'll need to allow about 30 to 40 minutes for your lesson and about 4 hours for the round of golf.

You need to know

To do this activity you must be at least 18 years old.
You will need to have a general fitness to play golf.
You will be expected to have a basic golfing proficiency and a knowledge of the rules and etiquette of the game. You do not need a handicap certificate to play. You will need to bring along your own clubs or rent them on the day.
