Do you know your New Worlds from your Old Worlds? Do you have trouble knowing whether to serve white or red with dinner? Well, this is just the day for you! Whether you just like the occasional glass or you have developed a real passion for wine, you will all be guided through the wonderful world of wines a relaxed and informal manner by your enthusiastic and knowledgeable host. You will learn how to taste wine like the professionals do and about the intricacies of both red and white wines, such as how different climates, regions and grapes can affect the colour and flavour. After the day you can put your new found knowledge in practice to pick out some new wines from wine lists and aisles of your local supermarket. This is a real opportunity to appreciate wines in a comfortable setting and have some fun along the way!
The format of the day varies and depending on the theme you will go into certain areas in greater depth, but generally you will:
