Champagne Tasting & Lunch by the Thames for Two

Champagne is seen as the drink to mark a celebration but with this experience you will learn that Champagne is a great choice on any day. Your host will be Chris Hambleton who regularly appears in the press and on television. He'll share his vast knowledge of the Champagne world and help you taste the difference between your Pinot noirs, Chardonnays and Pinot Meuniers. Situated at Bacchanalia on the banks of the Thames, you'll be overlooking the Tate Modern as you enjoy a great variety of Champagnes and a delicious buffet lunch. Treat friends or family to this memorable afternoon out or indulge you and a friend and pick up a few tips for impressing your dinner party guests!

This experience will begin with an introduction on how to taste wines. This is followed by the tasting of 12 different Champagnes from all the major Champagne houses including premier cru, grand cru and vintage too. In addition to these, there could be some unusual varieties you may not have heard of. To finish, you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. Please note that the buffet menu and choice of Champagnes changes every month. You can check the exact details when booking your experience.
