You’ve seen it on TV. You may have watched it through the fence. Now’s your chance to get behind the wheel of a full-on stock car on an oval race circuit usually reserved for seasoned competitors. You’re on the grid, engine running, helmet on, visor misting, harness pinning you against your seat. In front and alongside, their engines revving sit your opposition. The smell of fuel and fumes mixes with the sweat running down your neck and the mounting adrenaline levels.
Have you got what it takes to win the cup? How much have you learnt about the techniques which could see you driving to victory? If you can hold your nerve, remember the advice of your instructor and keep up the pace, you could be the champion.
After a warm up and training, it’s straight to the trackside to put the pedal to the metal and let the back slide as you thunder round the corners in a real stock car event, competing against fellow participants.
During your day you will race F2 stockcars in a practice session, two heats and a stockcar championship final. You will also take part in a range of other events: the Professionals Challenge (in fully race prepared off-road Capri Bangers!); the Del Boy Challenge (in Reliant Robin Bangers!); the Push-me, Pull-you driving experience; and the Nag Drag Challenge. Commentators, music and enthusiastic instructors will make your event unforgettable.

When can you go?
This is available on selected Friday to Sunday dates, throughout the year.
How long does this activity last?
This experience will last approximately 6 hours.
You need to know
To participate in this activity you must be at least 16 years old.
General fitness is needed and it may not be suitable for those who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy or any mental or physical disability. The maximum height is 1.98m (6ft6in) , minimum height is 1.47m (4ft10in) The maximum weight is 127kg (20 stone).
No experience is required, although the ability to drive a car is vital. Please note however that a driving license is not required.

Family and friends

Stock Car Fun

What brilliant fun! Having done a lot of driving activities, this one has to top them all - a firm favourite and well worth every penny! Where else can you thrash the infamous Trotters van rally stylee, drive blindfolded round an obstacle course with someone giving you instructions while trying to balance a football in a satellite dish the front of the car, drive a car made of two front ends, and many more challenges, and that's before you get to compete in the stock cars! Absolutely awesome! It made a fabulous day out and a great activity where you can bring your friends and family to watch and cheer you on. I can't recommend it highly enough, a 5 star studded activity all the way!

Unlike some driving experiences, I was actually able to race and compete in heats, then a final. As well as the main event, I got to try my hand at some wicked drive trials against my fellow participants– timed laps in a Corvette, a session on the dirt track in Del Boy’s car, and a blind-folded obstacle challenge in a banged up old car. The whole experience lasted a day so it was great value for money. Can’t wait to do it again!

It was a full day experience and included loads of different driving experiences and lunch was a bonus. The fear factor was a major adrenaline drive for this experience and the highlight was the Del Boy Challenge – a three wheeler round the track and turning it on its side!
I would recommend this to any driving fanatic that likes a huge rush of adrenaline and isn’t afraid to jut go for it.
