Overview

The Nissan GT-R is all about speed and precision. The attention to detail is extraordinary. For example, the GT-R's tyres are filled with nitrogen because ordinary air is considered too unstable and each gearbox is specifically mated to each handmade engine. In other words, it is one of the most advanced cars built today that puts other supercars twice its price into the shade.

Your day will begin with a welcome, introduction and safety briefing on circuit driving techniques. This will be followed by two familiarisation laps with an instructor at the wheel, depending on location. Then it's your turn to put the GT-R through its paces with 6 miles of driving.

At most locations you will then be awarded an individual driving certificate as a memento of your experience. Additionally, you will receive an individual driving assessment from your instructor.

The person driving the car will be required to sign a disclaimer accepting liability in the event of damage to the vehicle. The driver will be given an option to purchase damage waiver cover when booking to minimise their financial exposure should there be an accident. Drivers are under no obligation to purchase this optional waiver. Full details are available at the time of booking.

What else do I need to know?

The minimum age for this experience is 18 years old.

Maximum height 1.93m (6ft 4in) and minimum height 1.57m (5ft 2in). Max weight 101kg (16 stone). You will be asked to sign a disclaimer on the day, as you will not be covered for damage caused as a result of reckless and/or negligent driving.

A full valid driving licence must have been held for a minimum of 1 year, with no serious offences, must be presented on the day. You will need to speak fluent English in order to understand the instructor.
