Lotus Exige at Silverstone

Based upon this unique manufacturer's 'simplicate, then add lightness' philosophy, the Exige is a truly hardcore mid-engine sports car. Its alluring curves and cutting edge design provide the ultimate package of balanced downforce, substantially contributing towards making it one of the quickest and safest cars on the road today.

Add to this a state of the art engine, tested in the most demanding conditions and delivering a top speed of 147mph, a six-speed gearbox that's fast, precise and allows you to apply the power exactly when needed, and you've got a car you'll never want to stop driving! The Exige is a special challenge in itself but when linked with the Silverstone Southern Circuit, the famous Becketts Corner and Chapel Curve, it’s sublime.

Your experience will start with a safety and driving techniques briefing. You will then have 4 familiarisation laps driving the Lotus Exige. Now you have the hang of the driving you will have a further 5 laps driving the Lotus Exige. Your experience will end with a high speed passenger ride then debrief.

Selected weekdays and weekend dates, March to November.

How long does this activity last?

You will spend about 2½ hours at the venue.

You need to know

You need to be at least 18 years old and the maximum age is 70 years old.
The maximum weight is 101kg (16 stone), the maximum height is 1.93m (6ft 4), the minimum height is 1.57m (5ft 2). This activity is not be suitable for those who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy or mental or physical disability.
A full valid manual UK or European driving licence is required, which must have been held for at least one year with no serious offences, which you will need to take with you on the day and you will be required to sign a disclaimer on the day.

Driving will be on a one to one basis but the car is shared with other voucher holders on the day.
