The Jaguar D Type was built purely to win races, in particular the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hour. And did it win? Of course three times on the trot! Built in the 1950's, the Jaguar D Type was one of the most innovative cars of the period, it was one of the first cars to have a monocoque chassis with disc brakes which are still widely used today and the body was sculptured to be aerodynamically efficient. For this experience you will drive a recreation of a long nose Le Mans replica version, painted in the famous Ecurie Ecosse racing team colours. Driving this beautiful classic car around Goodwood's historic Grand Prix circuit is an opportunity not to be missed.
Your day will begin with a welcome, introduction and in car safety briefing on circuit driving techniques. Then you'll spend three laps around the historic Goodwood circuit behind the wheel of the legendary Jaguar DType. You will be given a certificate on completion of this experience.
