Sea Safari for Two

It may surprise you to know that there is a wealth of marine wildlife around the UK and one of the best places to see it is off the coast of Cornwall. You can find a range of marine animals including; Bottlenose Dolphins, Common Dolphins, Basking Sharks, Atlantic Grey Seals, Sun Fishes, and much more. There's also a wealth of birds too, including; Gannets, Fulmars, Peregrine Falcons, Guillemots, Cormorants and Shags. Bring your binoculars and see how many species you can spot! You never quite know what you might find on this trip as sea temperatures are always changing, so more and more unusual species are being found around Cornish shores. As an added bonus, this experience also entitles you entrance to the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth.

This two hour coastal and wildlife safari explores the stunning local cornish coastline. Once you are on the boat you will be looking for wildlife whilst listening to an informative and entertaining commentary from the skipper. You'll also hear all about the fascinating area including its history, shipwrecks, smugglers tales and the marine environment. Please note there is no guarantee that you will see any animals. On the day of your experience you will be given a separate voucher that will entitle you entrance to the National Maritime Museum, which you can visit at any time that day when you are not on your sea safari.

When can you go?

This experience is available Monday to Sunday, throughout the year, except Christmas

How long does this activity last?

The boat trip will last 2 hours and you can visit the museum during opening hours 10am-5pm.

You need to know

The minimum age is 6 years old, under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
This experience is not suitable for pregnant women or people with hip or back problems.
There are no qualifications required.
